Woven by hand in Kairouan since 1962
Baraka works directly with weaving families and women's cooperatives in Kairouan, Oudref, Gafsa and the Jerid. Every carpet is knotted or woven on a traditional loom from hand-spun wool, coloured with madder, pomegranate, indigo and saffron.
No middlemen, no factories. You see the atelier that made your rug and the weaver is paid a fair price for weeks of work.

We buy from the weaving families of Kairouan and the Jerid ourselves, so there is no importer, wholesaler or showroom in between.
Natural wool & dyes
Hand-spun sheep's wool coloured with madder, pomegranate, indigo and saffron. No synthetic fibres, no chemical finishes.
Fair pay for every knot
Each weaver sets her own price for her work and is paid in full before the rug leaves the loom.
